Job Description

As a newly established team in the larger Comply356 group, we are currently looking for a product manager to help transform our product process from that of a small startup to one with a large customer base, and expanding team and responsibilities, while continuing to employ agile and lean principles to do so.

We are driven by the opportunity to solve complex challenges with real impact for our customers and the wider industry. We are seeking candidates with experience in building enterprise-grade software, ideally with exposure to AI technologies or the aviation sector. Our international team champions a remote work culture with regular in-person meet-ups. We value cross-functional collaboration, short feedback loops and continuous improvement. This role will report into the SVP for the SafetyManager team.

Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of user problems through activities such as user interviews and, in consultation with design and engineering, formulate and prioritise pragmatic solutions which delight our customers.

Develop and maintain the customer-facing product roadmap and internal engineering backlog, balancing the needs and desires of customers, internal business goals, technical feasibility and implementation cost.

Communicate the product roadmap and set expectations with customers.

Drive product decisions through short user centric feedback loops.

Validate that solutions delivered by our Engineering and Design team meet our internal quality standards.

Externally validate that solutions delivered meet user needs.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape, in order to define strategic and market positioning.

Work with Sales and Customer Success teams to develop product marketing strategies and assist in sales, deployment and customer support activities.

Stream product and customer insights back into the product development process.

Define and own product success metrics to measure impact and performance of released features.

Communicate product plans, status updates and key milestones to stakeholders across the wider Comply365 team.

Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of the product process.

Attributes

At least 8+ years’ experience in product management creating exceptional technical products, ideally in B2B SaaS.

Experience scaling product processes from product-market fit to a medium to large customer base.

Demonstrated experience working closely with designers and engineers in balanced teams.

Analytical, data-driven decision maker with strong product intuition.

Able to assess technical feasibility of proposed product features at a high level while simultaneously understanding the commercial impact to a customer.

A pragmatic attitude to getting things done.

Excellent facilitator of internal and customer meetings and user interviews—especially in remote work settings.

Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

Understanding of capabilities and limitations of AI technology including Large Language Models and other transformer-based machine learning architectures.

Knowledge of risk management domain and practices (HFACS, risk matrices, bowties) and airline industry a bonus.
