The Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for aiding design, develop automated/manual test scripts and verify platform features, common applications following the software development lifecycle and design controls. He or She will develop/automate and execute tests for the next generation of laboratory software systems. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SME’s.
This position reports to the Technical Manager part of the Digital Solutions Organization located in Bangalore and will be on-site
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop, execute automated, manual test scripts/cases based on analyzed requirements and overall test strategy using automated tools for the next generation medical diagnostic software.
Work in an agile product release environment, with focus on quality and delivery goals.
Understand complex system issues and drive root cause in a global environment.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science \& Engg (CSE), Computer Science \& Information Security (CSIS), Computer Networking \& Engg (CNE), Software Engg (SE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with B.Sc Computer Science or Electronics.
Knowledge in Java scripting and BDD under Windows/Linux platform.
Knowledge in software testing and test automation concepts.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.
Exposure to continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
