As Manager M\&A and CVC, you will play a key role in driving Belimo’s growth by identifying strategic opportunities, executing M\&A transactions, and fostering innovation through Corporate Venture Capital investments.
In this global role, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution — from screening and evaluating potential targets to leading financial modelling, due diligence, and integration planning. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure that each transaction and investment creates lasting value for Belimo and strengthens our position as a trusted industry leader.
What You'Ll Do Systematically seek out potential M\&A and CVC targets in line with Belimo's strategy by monitoring industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, maintaining a funnel of potential targets and evaluate opportunistic M\&A and CVC situations.
Prepare internal approval documentation, owning the financial modelling, evaluate and quantify synergies, transaction and integration costs.
Lead the due diligence process and coordinating the functional workstreams and external consultants, ensuring due diligence findings are addressed appropriately.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans to ensure a seamless integration, supporting the integration project management office.
Contribute to the post-acquisition management process, performance tracking and reporting.
Identify and evaluate startups, innovative technologies, maintain a funnel of potential targets.
Monitor and manage the company's portfolio of CVC investments, track performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, engineering or a related field. Master's degree and/or a professional degree (like CFA or CPA) is a plus.
3+ years of experience with M\&A or CVC transactions, financial modeling, due diligence, legal documentation, separation and integration.
Collaborative and trustworthy personality with high integrity.
Analytical, structured, and fact-based problem-solving skills.
Strong English proficiency and solid German skills required to collaborate effectively across our global organization.
Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
