What you’ll be doing:

Build solutions for our clients to benefit from our Digital Business Platform! You’ll be the lead developer of one of our agile and hybrid engineering teams and work on exciting projects in our department for customised customer solutions within a complex SaaS BSS enterprise software. build software components that are robust, reliable, testable and easy for other developers to understand

Define software requirements together with the Product Owner and lead a team to implement customer requirements in one of our modern tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot, Container, Kubernetes/TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Serverless).

be a vocal contributor to our software architecture, as well as how we work (DevOps/CI/CD) and our technology strategy

develop and implement automated tests using Cucumber, Playwright and JUnit

improve and further develop internal development processes and tools used by our development teams

be actively involved in all stages of software delivery (design - successful go-live).

implement innovative front-ends in Typescript using React

continue developing software, while expanding your role to team leadership and organisational enhancement. Take responsibility for people and organisation to create a team culture of transparency, growth, inclusiveness and collaboration.

What you bring to the role:

You graduated a third level IT qualification (FH, TU - in Software Engineering and Management, Software Design, Cloud Computing, Information and Computer Engineering or similar)

You are a seasoned software engineer with at least 5 years of experience in agile SW engineering, and you are an expert in one technology (e.g. Java and the Spring Stack, practical knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, Cloud provider)

Your previous roles covered already first project/technical team lead-tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement.

You desire to build great software products and a strong focus on results i.e. getting things done, including a high degree of initiative, reliability, determination and willingness to learn. This is rounded off by a positive “can-do” attitude.

Your passion for and deep understanding of current trends in software engineering (Cloud Services, Serverless, Microservices, DevOps, Continuous Deployment, Cloud native technologies) is admirable.

You take on responsibility and support / coach (and later) lead others

Your mindset is collaborative with an independent and accurate approach and willingness to work in an agile team

You are an inspiring team player, listen to others actively and follow up with constructive outcome-oriented ideas.

You communicate fluently in English and German, clearly explaining complex topics to different audiences.

Compensation: The minimum salary is EUR 65.800,- all in gross per month on a full-time basis. However, we offer a salary which in line with the market, depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience.
