Position Overview
We are seeking a trilingual, presentable, and relationshipâoriented Marketing and Admissions Coordinator to join our team, with a particular focus on supporting admissions for our secondary DSE programmes and Mainland Chinese families .
This role combines front-facing work with families and behindâtheâscenes marketing and admissions operations . The ideal candidate:
Communicates confidently in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua ,
Enjoys engaging with parents and students and can clearly articulate Bloomâs mission and programmes, and
Is motivated by helping families make wellâinformed decisions about their childrenâs education and future pathways.
You will support the full admissions journeyâfrom initial enquiry to enrollmentâwhile also contributing to content creation, events, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
Family Engagement \& Admissions
Host and support campus tours and info sessions , especially for families interested in our secondary DSE programmes , including those from Mainland China.
Present the schoolâs vision, curriculum, and student pathways in a clear and authentic way, and answer parent questions in Putonghua, Cantonese, and English .
Build trust and strong relationships with prospective families; guide them through the admissions journey and provide timely followâup and support.
Handle student affairs and communication with Secondary students from Mainland China and their families, helping them adjust and feel welcomed into the school community.
Marketing \& Communications
Create marketing videos and be responsible for the entire process from planning to recording to editing to publishing.
Regularly capture and document student teaching and learning (e.g. field trips, projects) and special school events through photography and/or filming, and post on social media platforms.
Draft and run ads on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media platforms.
Design graphics, banners, and flyers for any marketing and internal needs.
Collaborate with external design, marketing and PR partners to support the Schoolâs marketing goals.
Support in publishing articles on media outlets.
Maintain the website to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Design and purchase promotional merchandise.
Translate marketing and admissions materials between English and Chinese (including Traditional and Simplified where needed).
Admissions operations \& events
Plan and execute regular parent info sessions, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for families.
Conduct admissions assessments and manage assessment logistics.
Manage enrollment logistics, including processing new applications and verifying that all required documents are complete and accurate.
Process financial aid applications.
Update studentsâ information and records and maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
Contact, nurture, and convert leads; track and report on admissions status on a weekly basis.
Schedule parent meetings and coordinate with internal teams.
Attend internal and external marketing and admissions events.
Support the Director of Marketing and Admissions on any admissions matters and marketing-related events.
Execute other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Note: The role involves supporting occasional Saturday info sessions and events as part of our effort to accommodate familiesâ schedules. Timeâoff in lieu will be arranged in line with school policy.
Person Specification
Required Qualifications \& Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (e.g. education, customer service, sales, marketing, admissions, or related fields).
University degree or above in Business Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or related disciplines.
High proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal), with fluent Cantonese and Putonghua. Ability to confidently host tours and presentations in Putonghua is essential.
Presentable, articulate, and comfortable speaking to groups of parents and students , both in person and online.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a serviceâoriented, relationshipâbuilding mindset; able to understand parent needs and explain how Bloomâs approach and programmes can support their childrenâs growth.
Strong computer skills, particularly Google Workspace; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Experience working in a school setting or educationârelated organization is preferred.
Able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Responsible, detail-minded, diligent, and flexible when working on multiple tasks.
Proactive, with a positive âcan doâ spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to studentsâ educational journeys and social good.
Satisfactory criminal background check.
Immediate availability will be an advantage.
