Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, BoQuest and BoDesk. You will work on both the backend, built with Django, and the frontend, built with React. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for creating accessible and user-friendly educational technology.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the backend of our web applications using Django.
Develop and implement user-facing features using React.
Collaborate with our team to design and launch new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
Expertise in JavaScript and the React library.
Experience with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
Knowledge of database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Understanding of accessibility best practices in web development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
