Role Description:
About Us: At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
Booking.com for Business is a travel product designed for the needs of small and medium size enterprises. It lets companies book and manage business trips — stays, flights, and car rental — in one place. Our primary users are business owners, travel managers and business travellers who need a simple, policy-compliant way to organise and manage their trips. We provide additional business-oriented functionality on top of the core Booking.com benefit offering – loyalty programmes, 24/7 customer support, etc.
The product is built in partnership with Serko Ltd. as a white-label solution based on their platform Zeno, meaning we design Booking.com-branded experiences on top of Serko’s technology. In this setting our team is responsible for customer acquisition and creates connection points between Booking.com and Booking.com for Business, adapting existing Booking.com capabilities to the business travel context. As a Designer I you'll be partnering with product, tech and marketing stakeholders within and outside of our team to attract, activate and retain more small and medium business customers on our platform.
Key specifics of our team are:
Focus on rapid experimentation and general agility in order to find and benefit from available opportunities;
Work on the intersection of marketing and product development that requires a broad designer skillset;
Need to interact with various parts of the business in order to find and engage with the right opportunities to bring more customers to our platform.
Please note: some travel to New Zealand, Europe and the US is required throughout the year.
