R\&D – Tire Development - Advanced Modules and Champion (AMC) - PSR

Job Purpose
To develop New and Innovative Champion Tires as combination of New Technologies in M1, M2, M3 and New Constructions for BSEMEA products in a Cross Functional Team with other TCE functions (especially (designed by New Materials Dev./Implementation teams and Pattern Engineering team) as well as within West \& Global working environment, leveraging on Design Thinking and Virtual development tools and methodology.
Main Accountabilities
Develop new Mold and construction by combination of NTs, jointly with NT development functions (in EMEA and in other poles) to meet Next Gen. Products targets (both REP and OE perspectives.)
Work Cross functionally within R\&D and Business Units and other technical poles engaging teams on customer driven journeys to design with a BOSS driven focus
Prepare appropriate documentation for projects and participate in Technical Meetings with stakeholders.
Use of Design Thinking and Virtual development tools to ensure robust and lean development.
Working relationships
All R\&D functions in TCE: Consumer Tire Development, WAMP, System Engineering,
Quality related functions, especially Design Quality, Sales engineering.
Head Quarter Sales and Marketing Teams
Manufacturing
West and Global working teams with similar focus / mission in ATC and TCJ
Technical skills
Experience in R\&D, with preference on Tire development and New Technologies development
Innovation oriented mindset both in terms of technical solutions for products and for working process enhancement.
Digital mindset: Ability to develop and/or apply new digital tools/software to change business or processes.
Learning and Change Agility
Computer: MS Office, strong background in CREO, understanding/experience of FEM methodology
University: Master degree in Mechanical/Aeronautic Engineer or related fields
Language: upper Intermediate level of English
