Role: Java Developer
Location Requirement
: Guadalajara, Hybrid.
What Does success mean in this role?
Strong experience with
Java (8+) and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience building
Microservices and REST APIs
Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native design principles
Experience with
Kafka
or similar messaging/event-streaming platforms
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and security best practices
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
Daily Activities:
Design, develop, and maintain
scalable microservices
using
Java and Spring Boot
Build and expose
RESTful APIs
with a strong focus on performance, security, and reliability
Develop
cloud-native applications
on
AWS
(EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
Implement
event-driven architectures
using
Kafka
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and integration patterns
Implement
CI/CD pipelines
and promote DevSecOps best practices
Ensure
application observability
using logging, monitoring, and tracing tools
Automate testing, deployments, and operational tasks
Leverage
AI-assisted development tools
to improve code quality and productivity
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
