Job Summary
We currently have an opening for a Graphic Designer/Web Developer to assist in design and development of e-commerce related websites, graphics and print/marketing materials. We are looking for an individual with work related experience and who is interested in long-term career growth, motivated by challenges, works well with others and is stimulated by new technologies. You will be responsible for:
Design and development of both static and data driven websites
Design and creation of various graphics for both print and web
Assisting the Design \& Development team with any assigned tasks
Customer interactions and communications
Help with general office related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
Qualifications
Two years of web design \& development related work experience.
Official training and certification in a related field.
Proficiency in writing clean and concise HTML \& CSS.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript
Working knowledge of JavaScript libraries (React, Angular, jQuery) is an asset
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
Familiarity with Affinity Design \& Photo Software
Proven understanding of UI/UX design and concepts
Quick learner with new software applications and systems.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve related issues
Proven time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines
Must be motivated, work well as part of a team and independently
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills and a passion to provide outstanding customer service
Familiarity with JSP, and PHP is an asset
