We believe design will be our key differentiator against incumbents and point solutions. To get there, we’re hiring a Head of Design to elevate design into a strategic pillar of the company.
About the role:
The Head of Design will lead and scale a multidisciplinary team of 5 Product Designers, 1 UX Researcher, and 1 Content Designer. You will co-own brand and marketing design with the CMO, and be a key stakeholder in shaping product strategy with the CPO.
This role is about much more than visual polish: you will make design a lever for product differentiation, customer adoption, and market leadership. You’ll create the systems, org, and culture that allow bsport to scale design impact from €30M ARR to €100M ARR.
Key Responsibilities
Vision \& Strategy

Define and champion a design vision that sets bsport apart in a crowded market.

Be a key stakeholder in product strategy, ensuring customer insight and usability drive roadmap decisions.

Partner with the CMO to align product and brand experiences into one coherent identity.
Leadership \& Org Building

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, researchers, and content specialists.

Scale the org: hire design managers and senior ICs as we expand.

Build a culture of craft, collaboration, and customer empathy across teams.
Customer Insight \& Research

Own and scale the research practice to deeply understand customer needs and workflows.

Translate insights into design strategies that simplify complex problems and drive adoption.
Design Systems \& Operational Excellence

Establish scalable design systems and processes that ensure consistency and speed.

Implement metrics and frameworks to measure design impact on product outcomes and business growth.
Cross-Company Influence

Co-own brand design with Marketing to ensure every touchpoint — from product to sales collateral — reinforces bsport’s identity.

Influence the entire customer journey by embedding design thinking into onboarding, support, and GTM motions.
You would be great fit if you have:
Proven experience leading design in a high-growth SaaS company where design was at the heart of the Product success (ideally B2B or marketplace-style).
Track record of scaling design teams from single digits to 15+ across disciplines.
Strong design craft in product and interaction design, paired with systems thinking.
Experience collaborating with executive peers in Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Comfort switching between hands-on design guidance and executive-level leadership.
Passion for turning complexity into simplicity for end-users.
