BuildBob provides construction developers with powerful predictive intelligence, designed to keep projects on schedule and within budget. We leverage AI agents to analyze real-time communications, cross-check core project documents, identify hidden risks, and prevent costly delays.
Buildbob is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing and scaling our predictive intelligence platform. You will be instrumental in building the technology that analyzes complex construction data, identifies potential issues, and provides actionable insights to our users. You'll work with a modern tech stack to create robust, scalable, and impactful solutions.
Our core technology stack includes PostgreSQL, Qdrant, Nest.js, and Next.js.
What can you expect?
Build intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces using Next.js.
Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable backend systems using Nest.js with PostgreSQL.
Lead the integration of Buildbob with third-party construction software and various communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, email) to ensure seamless data flow.
Contribute to architectural decisions with other engineers and help shape the technical direction of the Buildbob platform.
We’re looking for someone who/with
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related technical field.
Significant professional experience in full-stack or backend-heavy software development.
Proven expertise in TypeScript and extensive experience with Node.js frameworks, particularly Nest.js.
Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js and Tailwind.
Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
A passion for software engineering and tackling interesting technical challenges.
We’ll prefer someone with
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) technology sector.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts.
Experience working on projects that integrate AI/ML models (especially LLM use-cases).
