Responsibilities:
Develop and evaluate short to long-term strategic financial objectives for the group hotels;
Supervise and monitor daily operations and accounting and finance functions;
Address operational issues and improve processes and systems for utmost efficiency;
Provide financial analysis and insight to optimize financial results of the operations, special projects, guiding managers and team members to achieve objectives.
Ensure accurate forecasting of revenues, costs, CAPEX, and cash flow projections for hotel operations.
Ensure compliance with corporate laws, tax laws, accounting standards (HKFRS), and applicable ordinances;
Prepare/review financial and management reports, consolidated accounts, month-end reporting deliverables \& analysis, budgets and forecasts of group hotels;
Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, banks, tax advisors/authority, consultants and regulators;
Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure effective checks and balances, and ensure that all group hotels comply with established financial procedures and regulations;
Provide analytical support and identify cost saving and productivity opportunities;
Review purchase requisitions with independent analysis and recommendation for management approvals;
Develop, implement and review policies and procedures, operational manuals and internal approval procedures;
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements :
Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines with professional accounting qualification.
Minimum 8 - 10 years’ relevant accounting/finance experience in hotels.
Strong cost management, risk control and financial analysis capabilities.
Hands-on, ability to work under pressure and tight reporting deadlines with quality.
Mature with strong leadership, analytical and judgement skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of spoken \& written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Good computer skills including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, FlexSystem, Sage etc. Knowledge in Hotel Management Systems: Opera / Cambridge / Oasis, etc.
