Job Description

The Card Product Manager works closely with the Head of Card Products and is responsible for the overall success of the company's card offerings. They identify and develop new business opportunities while managing existing partnerships to ensure consistent sales growth, market share leadership, and revenue maximization across all sales channels.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive review of market trends, competitors, target customers, and target partners.

Identify and develop the company's cards' unique selling proposition and differentiators.

Take responsibility for developing card specifications for different consumer segments and implementing sales processes across all channels (in-house, third-party, and digital).

Define business models and pricing strategies for card development.

Develop and manage short- and long-term business strategies, sales \& marketing plans, and targeted programs based on budget, market potential, target customers, consumer needs, competition, resources, and capabilities.

Collaborate with the Sales Optimization department to identify strategic partners and develop partnerships to leverage their networks and customer databases, ensuring profitable cooperation.

Manage the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLCM) of the card portfolio, including initiatives that drive activation, usage, upgrades, and retention. This includes creating robust card spend activation programs and usage programs (concept to execution and fulfillment) to achieve spending targets.

Monitor customer and partner satisfaction to ensure service delivery excellence and propose changes to improve customer experience and strengthen relationships.

Work closely with the Marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns for cards.

Serve as the key point of contact for credit card policies and procedures, collaborating with Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Marketing teams to compile and maintain these policies.

May lead and mentor other card planner staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications \& Experience

3-5 years of experience working in financial services, preferably in the banking industry, including 1-2 years leading a card product team.

2-3 years of experience managing card products.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics.

Knowledge \& Skills

Proven ability to develop and launch successful card products.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English (written and verbal).

Customer-centric with a focus on value creation and service excellence.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

Experience in project management and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite for creating reports and presentations.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.
