Cake is looking for a seasoned
Product Executive/Specialist (Merchant Solution)
to lead the design, development, and execution of financial products tailored to MSME merchants— especially those operating on digital platforms such as e-commerce, ride-hailing, e-shops, and social commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop financial products for digital merchants:
Research and analyze the financial behaviors and needs of MSME merchants on digital platforms (e.g., e-commerce, ride-hailing, live selling, etc.).
Design and deliver a comprehensive suite of financial solutions including payment acceptance and merchant card.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech Product Manager, Risk, Legal, Operations, Partnerships, … to build and launch merchant-focused products tailored to their cash flow patterns and business models.
Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous product improvement based on data and market insights.
2. Product and project execution:
Support Product Manager in product execution and delivery for MSME initiatives.
Drive timely execution, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in product execution in fintech, digital banking, or digital platforms that serve merchants.
Good understanding of MSME merchant needs, cash flow patterns, and ecosystems such as e-commerce, ride-hailing, or social commerce is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with digital products (payment acceptance, card) is a strong advantage.
Data-driven with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork capabilities.
