Join a high-impact consolidation project at a global pharmaceutical company, designing, implementing, and migrating a large-scale sensor data platform for clinical trials. The platform supports the ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis of high-frequency sensor data.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design end-to-end cloud architectures on AWS for a large-scale sensor data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance in a clinical trial environment.
Lead and support the consolidation of existing systems, including the migration of high-volume, high-frequency sensor data to a unified AWS-based platform.
Define and guide data ingestion, processing, and storage patterns for streaming and batch data, ensuring efficient handling of large sensor datasets.
Work hands-on with engineering teams to implement architectural designs, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Ensure solutions comply with cloud security standards, data protection requirements, and regulatory expectations relevant to clinical trials and pharmaceutical environments.
Design and review solutions with a focus on performance, cost efficiency, and scalability to support growing data volumes and analytical workloads.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, quality, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Requirements (Must-Have):
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, providing a solid foundation in system architecture, data management, and software design
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including designing, deploying, and operating scalable, secure cloud architectures
Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and optimization of large-scale data pipelines
Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining data-driven and cloud-based solutions
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with CSV frameworks (e.g., GAMP5)
Previous work in regulated industries
AWS certifications
