Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Senior Developer. The Senior Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain innovative software solutions with a focus on reporting development, data reconciliation. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing technical standards and best practices, troubleshooting complex systems, and contributing to codebase optimization. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python
Hands-on experience with software development frameworks, such as Spring Boot
Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, and optimization
Knowledge of database management and SQL and Store Procedure
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
Previous experience in financial services or a related industry is highly desirable
