Job Description As a Building Automation \& Electrical Project Engineer, you will focus on the end-to-end management and execution of building automation projects, particularly related to electricity, instrumentation, and special techniques such as fire detection, burglary detection, CCTV, access control, intercom, and gas monitoring. You will work in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Translating electrical needs into comprehensive designs while ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, including EN60204 norms
Overseeing contractors for electrical works and monitoring project budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Providing technical input within multidisciplinary project teams (HVAC, utilities, equipment) to ensure integrated system solutions
Managing suppliers for design and commissioning activities, ensuring quality standards are met
Developing and maintaining as-built documentation for installations, keeping plans updated and accurate
Providing second-line support for building security systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions
YourYour profile
Master's degree in engineering (industrial, civil, bio-engineering, or electrical/electronic engineering)
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong technical writing and communication skills
Knowledge of electrical norms (e.g., EN60204) and instrumentation (e.g., VSD, profibus, profinet)
Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems (S7, WinCC, Tia Portal) is a plus
Experience or interest in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or pharmaceutical environments
Proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to be flexible for occasional shift work or weekend coverage when required
