YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Back End Java Developer to join our teams in Lisbon or Porto.
Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Java 17+, and Hibernate
Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of applications
Design and implement scalable and efficient backend features
Develop and integrate APIs and microservices using Java Spring frameworks
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and enforce best practices
Implement unit, integration, and performance testing
Work closely with frontend developers, business analysts, and testers
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
YOUR PROFILE* University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java 17+, Hibernate, Cloud \& Microservice Architecture
Experience in SQL database management
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Test containers)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, GitLab)
Strong expertise in API development (RESTful APIs, Swagger)
Knowledge of version control \& Agile methodologies (Git, GitLab, Scrum)
English and portuguese fluent
Strong leadership and managerial skills
