Job Description Location: Liège
As an Automation/Instrumentation Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a key role in designing and integrating advanced instrumentation and automation systems for test benches. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Designing and integrating instrumentation and automation systems for test benches
Defining the overall and detailed architecture of test benches (instrumentation and automation)
Writing technical specifications, requirement documents, and design documentation
Developing and validating PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC)
Maintaining equipment (sensors, PLCs, HMI interfaces)
Your profile* Engineering degree (Bac+5) in instrumentation, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent field
3-5 years of experience in automation and instrumentation engineering
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Flexible) and HMI design
Strong knowledge of sensors, measurement lines, interfaces, and uncertainty calculations
Experience with communication protocols and safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
Strong communication skills with fluency in English and French
