Job Description

About Us:

Capsule is a new kind of pharmacy. One that is smarter, friendlier, faster and hand-delivers your medication, same-day, for free. We have a national presence and have raised over $500MM from the best healthcare and technology investors in the world. People succeed in our culture when they are intensely focused on our customers, energized by accomplishing ambitious goals, and push themselves and their teammates to be their best. If this excites you, we’d love to have you join us.

About the Role: As a Senior Product Manager, you will translate Capsule’s most important business priorities into a product experience that drives delight for both our customers and doctors. You’ll own problems end-to-end — from deeply understanding the data, to framing the right questions, to building and iterating on solutions and ultimately driving measurable business impact. You will work across areas such as customer communications, workflow tools, and automation (including LLM-enabled solutions), always with a focus on creating seamless customer experiences and enabling our teams to do their best work. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Capsule’s executive leadership, ensuring alignment at every stage of the product journey.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the strategy and execution for your cross-functional squad, working closely with product design, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that both delight customers and drive Capsule’s most important business outcomes.

Use both quantitative data and qualitative insights to build a deep understanding of our customers — including consumers, doctors, partners, and internal teams — and translate those learnings into a focused roadmap that shapes Capsule’s broader product strategy.

Define what success looks like with clear, data-driven goals, ensure the right measurement systems are in place, and rally your team around evidence-based progress toward those outcomes.

Continuously dig deeper into the “why” behind problems and solutions, applying structured problem-solving frameworks and curiosity to refine the path to impact.

Requirements:

2 to 4 years or more experience in roles that required deep analytical thinking and stakeholder engagement (e.g., product, consulting, strategy, analytics, or similar). An MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach — you use data as the foundation for decisions and can translate complex analysis into clear product direction.

Ability to earn trust and influence across cross-functional partners, from engineers and designers to operations and executive leadership.

Familiarity with AI/LLMs and comfort experimenting with prompt techniques.

Excitement about working in a fast-paced, startup environment where priorities are dynamic and PMs are tied to solving the most important company problems.

This role is hybrid, with in-person collaboration required at our Chelsea NYC office two days per week.

About You:

You’re excited about the opportunity to transform healthcare by building products that create seamless, meaningful experiences for consumers, doctors, partners, and internal teams.

You bring both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach — connecting Capsule’s long-term vision to immediate product decisions that move the business forward.

You ground your decisions in data and use it to guide others, whether by extracting insights through analysis (SQL skills are a strong plus), synthesizing user research, or navigating ambiguity with structured problem-solving.

You are curious and open-minded, always asking “why” and pushing beyond the obvious answer to uncover the real drivers of impact.

You check your ego at the door. You are interested in finding the right answer vs. always having the right answer and always bring out the best in your team by helping to align people around common objectives.

You operate with an ownership mindset — taking responsibility for outcomes and expecting the same commitment from your teammates.

What we Offer:

The starting anticipated base salary for this position is between $160,000 and $180,000.

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time team members

The opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in healthcare and technology

The opportunity to execute on a high-impact mission, to build a pharmacy that works for everyone, within a $425 billion pharmacy industry touching 70% of Americans once a month

Capsule is committed to hiring the best team possible to build a pharmacy that works for everyone. We have a diverse set of problems to solve, and believe that we need a diverse set of perspectives to deliver the best possible solutions to those problems. We look for talent from a wide range of backgrounds - including but not limited to - race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, and veteran status.
