Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience utilising automation tools like
Terraform and Ansible.
Experience with
CI/CD
tool
AZDO
or similar.
Strong understanding of Security, Monitoring and Performance aspects of cloud-native platform and application architectures.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality and consistent systems and environments for the development team.
Experience in dealing with the management of product/app owners.
Develop and maintain the system and its services, automating the deployment process, ensuring system scaling, investigating and resolving outages, identifying and implementing preventive measures proactively, and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Analyse chronic and major issues, evaluate products and their services, make recommendations to improve service outcomes, design solutions in partnership with product, engineering, and architecture teams, build, test, and operationalise tools and applications.
Ensure smooth operations, monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for efficient resource utilisation and scaling.
Mentoring team members and the ability to collaborate with on-shore and off-shore operations engineers.
Able to see gaps and areas of improvement in process as well as technologies, providing recommendations and taking the initiative to fix issues are qualities we love to see in our teams.
Focus on proactive measures such as capacity planning, performance tuning and implementing infrastructure as code.
