The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to design and build high-performance, scalable and user-centric web applications.
This role goes beyond visual UI — it requires deep ownership of end-to-end user experience, performance optimisation and front-end architecture.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop and maintain modern web applications using Angular or React (minimum 5 years’ experience in one or both).
Lead both UI and UX implementation — owning user flows, usability, accessibility and experience quality.
Translate product requirements into elegant, responsive, production-ready interfaces.
Build mobile-first, responsive applications with a Progressive Web App (PWA) approach.
Develop scalable, reusable and maintainable component architectures.
Implement high-quality, consistent styling using modern CSS frameworks and methodologies.
Work from Figma designs and collaborate closely with design and product stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Back-End Developers to deliver cohesive, integrated solutions.
Engage directly with customers when required — demoing features, gathering feedback and iterating rapidly.
Apply performance-first engineering principles:
Caching strategies
Lazy loading
Code splitting
Dynamic scrolling / virtualisation
Bundle optimisation
Optimise applications for speed, accessibility and cross-device compatibility.
Contribute to Agile delivery processes (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Participate in sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery cycles.
Mentor junior developers and raise engineering standards across the team.
Contribute to front-end architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience with Angular and/or React.
Strong experience delivering mobile-first, responsive web applications.
Experience building and deploying Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
Expert-level CSS knowledge (SCSS/LESS) and modern CSS frameworks.
Strong UI/UX capability — able to think beyond visuals into usability and workflow design.
Experience working from Figma designs and collaborating with designers.
Performance-minded engineering approach.
Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and component architecture experience.
Comfortable working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
Experience mentoring junior team members.
Confident communicating with stakeholders and customers.
Desirable
Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and authentication flows.
Experience with C# / .NET back-end services.
Familiarity with Azure-hosted applications.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
