We are currently looking for an experienced Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to join a leading banking client working on a strategic cloud transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure while enabling the delivery of next-generation digital banking platforms.
You will work closely with engineering, platform, and business teams to design secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions using modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / Terraform Cloud
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments
Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Groovy
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
Work with engineering teams to design and implement cloud-native architectures
Automate cloud operations using Google Cloud SDK and APIs
Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized
Maintain infrastructure configuration and source code using Git / GitHub
Work with configuration formats such as JSON and YAML
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience building infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
Experience with Git / GitHub version control
Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
Ability to work with JSON and YAML configuration files
GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
Experience with Go (Golang)
Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio
Experience with GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar CI/CD platforms
Advanced GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer)
Exposure to AWS or Azure environments
