Investment Management firm
, is seeking a highly skilled
Senior DevOps Engineer
to strengthen their engineering and platform function. This is a hands‑on role within a sophisticated, security‑focused environment where reliability, automation, and governance are paramount.
You’ll play a key role in advancing the firm’s cloud and DevSecOps capabilities, ensuring the platform supporting their trading, risk, and investment systems remains secure, scalable, and highly available.

The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
🔹 Build \& automate critical infrastructure
Design and maintain deployment pipelines, automation tooling, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
🔹 Collaborate with engineering \& application teams
Work closely with software and platform teams to integrate automated testing, builds, and deployments — embedding DevSecOps best practices into their workflows.
🔹 Enhance operational resilience
Identify repetitive tasks and eliminate them through automation, improving stability and operational efficiency across the estate.
🔹 Support production environments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise mission‑critical systems used across investment and trading functions.
🔹 Strengthen security \& compliance controls
Implement and maintain robust security measures aligned with regulatory expectations in financial services.
🔹 Evaluate new tools \& engineering practices
Recommend improvements that enhance automation, reliability, and engineering maturity.
🔹 Maintain documentation \& participate in support
Produce clear documentation and contribute to an operational support rota.

Skills \& Experience Required
Experience
5+ years in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role
Strong experience across CI/CD, automation, and cloud‑native infrastructure
Unix/Linux sysadmin background a plus (RHEL particularly valued)
Technical Expertise
Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Cloud:
Azure (mandatory)
Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, Docker, Helm/Helmfile, ArgoCD
CI/CD: GitHub Actions (
must
), Azure DevOps (desirable), Jenkins (nice‑to‑have)
Enterprise tools: GitHub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory
Monitoring: Datadog
Strong grounding in security, compliance, governance, and monitoring — particularly relevant in regulated financial environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
