$76,550 - $85,000 base + super + NFP packaging benefits

We are seeking a qualified Field Service Technician with strong technical proficiency, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and effective communication skills to support both on-site and remote operations. In this pivotal position, you will offer guidance and training to frontline staff and end users within Catholic Healthcare’s Residential Aged Care facilities throughout Sydney Metropolitan and Regional New South Wales.
Your demonstrated experience in a similar position with a min of Service Desk level 2 + 3 years’ experience in Aged Care IT role, your well-developed active listening and problem-solving skills, and your proactive approach together with your strong competency with IT hardware, software and communication technologies, particularly android devices, are essential to be considered for this position. Additionally, you will be required to hold a current Drivers Licence and have your own vehicle. (Km’s will be reimbursed where travel is required)
Your days will include
Providing technical and project support, remotely and on-site
Build, configure and on-site deployment of new hardware and UI apps
Travel to sites for deployment and testing within education and go live time frames
Providing informal training to end-users on new android-based technologies being deployed to replace end of life equipment and services
Post implementation support by responding to assigned incidents and requests using the CHL IT Service Management system, recording progress and resolution
Provide ongoing support, follow-up and implementation of training or other technology tasks
Liaison with internal stakeholders onsite including Residential Managers, Front line, maintenance staff
The ideal applicant will have an engaging personality with a genuine interest in providing support to those with a non-technical mindset, in a calm, personable and professional manner in addition to;
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or higher
Min 3+ years demonstrated experience in Aged Care IT team
Experience working as part of a project team, delivering to fixed deadlines
Ability to clearly understand and interpret policies, instructions, and procedures
Strong competency in the use of Microsoft Applications \& systems including Microsoft Azure
Programming/Scripting Languages: C, C++, Python, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, HTML
Mitel, Active Directory, PowerBi, Microsoft 365, Blanco experience – highly desirable
Strong technical competency with IT hardware, software, and communication technologies particularly android OS
Hold a current NSW driver’s licence (must have own car)
Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary
Strong, demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
ITIL v4 Foundation certificate - desirable
Willingness to obtain Police report and NDISWC
