Role Summary
The Assistant Manager – Product Development will support end-to-end development of bioprocessing, medical device, and single-use products from concept to commercialisation. The role ensures technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and cost effectiveness while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support new product development (NPD), prototyping, and design optimisation
Translate market, customer, and regulatory requirements into technical specifications
Coordinate with R\&D, manufacturing, QA/RA, sourcing, and marketing teams
Prepare, review, and maintain Design History File (DHF), design controls, and technical documentation
Support product testing, verification, validation, and process qualification activities
Assist in BOM preparation, cost optimisation, and project tracking
Support customer technical discussions, audits, and product customisation requests
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, QMS, and applicable regulatory standards
Support technology transfer from development to manufacturing
Qualifications \& Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline
Experience in bioprocessing, medical devices, or single-use systems preferred
Knowledge of bioreactors, polymers, tubing, connectors, sterile assemblies, and disposable systems
Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a regulated environment
