POSITION OVERVIEW
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions that align with business objectives. The position involves managing the complete project lifecycle from initiation to closure, while maintaining high standards of quality and risk management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning \& Management
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget requirements
Define project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, work breakdown structures, and risk registers
Establish project governance frameworks and communication protocols
Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and methodologies
Team Leadership \& Coordination
Lead cross-functional project teams including developers, analysts, infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business users
Coordinate resource allocation and manage team workload distribution
Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations
Mentor junior project team members and promote best practices
Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary point of contact between IT department and business stakeholders
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives
Present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and business process analysis
Ensure effective change management and user adoption strategies
Risk \& Quality Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
Implement quality assurance processes and ensure deliverable standards
Manage project scope changes through formal change control procedures
Escalate issues and obstacles to appropriate management levels when necessary
Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions
Budget \& Resource Management
Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting
Optimize resource utilization and coordinate with resource managers
Manage vendor relationships and external contractor coordination
Ensure cost-effective delivery of project outcomes
Prepare financial reports and budget variance analysis
REQUERIMENTS
Education \& Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
ITIL Foundation certification desirable
Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) preferred
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration
Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello)
Knowledge of various project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid approaches)
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements
Professional Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of IT project management experience
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects
Experience managing budgets of $500K+ and teams of 10+ members
Background in software implementation, infrastructure upgrades, or digital transformation projects
Experience working in regulated industries preferred

Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in relevant field
Additional certifications in specific technologies (Cloud platforms, ERP systems, etc.)
Experience with enterprise software implementations
Background in change management and organizational transformation
Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
Experience in multinational or matrix organizations
Location: Reside in São Paulo, Jundiaí, or surrounding areas.
