Channel3 is building a database of every product on the internet. People have wanted to do this for decades, but it wasnât possible until now â AI is finally smart enough to structure the worldâs messy product data, and inexpensive enough to do so at scale.
Our vision: from in-store, to online, to AI-native
We believe agentic commerce is as important as in-store and online channels; thatâs where âChannel3â comes from. We plan to become the central node of agentic commerce, powering every AI transaction and taking a cut of GMV. We see Channel3 becoming as foundational to AI commerce as Stripe is to payments or Plaid is to fintech.
The problem
Agentic commerce is bottlenecked by messy product data. (See âOpenAIâs Shopping Ambitions Hit Messy Data Realityâ)) Product data is inconsistent at best, completely wrong at worst â that is, if it exists at all.
The opportunity
McKinsey estimates that âby 2030, the US B2C retail market alone could see up to $1 trillion in orchestrated revenue from agentic commerce, with global projections reaching as high as $3 trillion to $5 trillion.â That future is impossible without great product data.
The team
Alex (CEO) and George (CTO) have been friends since the first day of Duke. Alex began coding at 9, started his first company at 12, and most recently led AI projects at studio.com, where he got this idea. George published research on automating astronomy with robots at 18, and worked on big-data problems at Palantir for the past 2 years.
Evan and Ignacio are our founding engineers, both joining us from AWS. Evan earned a Masters in CS at Penn and built the first working example of agentic commerce. Ignacio studied CS at Duke with Alex + George and worked on agentic commerce at AWS.
Our team is all engineers; we ship

.
Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas at this time. You must have authorization to work in the US.
Our progress so far
Weâve indexed 100M+ products
1500+ developers have started using our API
Weâre scoping pilots with some serious enterprise customers
Weâve partnered with tens of thousands of brands via our affiliate network integrations
What youâll do
Build out our merchant-facing product: Youâll own the web app brands and agencies use to see (and eventually control) how they show up across AI shopping surfaces: what products are indexed, what attributes we think are true, where weâre wrong, and whatâs driving clicks and sales. Youâll turn messy internal data into a fast, intuitive UI that non-technical teams actually trust and use.
- Weâre recording metrics, but it needs an overhaul.
Invent the UX of agentic commerce: The industry is still figuring out what the interface for agentic commerce should look like. You will build consumer-grade apps on top of our API to define those patterns and dogfood our own infrastructure.
- We don't just want to sell an API; we want to show the world whatâs possible now that product data is finally good. You might build a visual-search iOS app on Monday, a "Tinder for furniture" web app on Wednesday, or a gifting agent on Friday. You have total creative freedom to build whatever shows off our data best.
Shape the developer experience: We want using Channel3 to be powerful enough to power entire companies, and simple enough for vibe-coders to use. We take pride in maintaining great documentation (with Mintlify) and easy-to-use SDKs (with Stainless). Youâll work with Evan to meet or exceed a Stripe-level developer experience.
Move fast and ship constantly. We bias toward shipping and iterating rather than overthinking. You'll push real code that users interact with every single day. If you have an idea in the morning, you can have it live by afternoon.
Own frontend architecture and polish. Youâll build in Python on the backend, and TypeScript + React on the frontend, set the standards for UI quality, performance, and design systems, and make complex workflows feel simple. Youâll care about the last 10%: load time, empty states, and the tiny details that make software feel premium.
Why join us
The time is right: AI is finally smart and inexpensive enough to make a universal product graph technically possible; agentic commerce creates immediate demand and a clear monetization path.
Weâre moving fast: Weâre up and running, with 1500+ developers building on our API, customers eagerly awaiting features, and millions of products processed every day.
Youâll have direct ownership of technical and infrastructure decisions, roadmap, and prioritization. Youâll help us grow the team and build our culture from the ground up.
Weâre having lots of fun: We enjoy working together, we take pride in building really good tech, and we all look forward to coming to work each day.
How we work
We work out of our sunny office in Flatiron (54 W 21st St) in-person together Monday through Friday.
Over the weekend, the expectation is to get a dayâs work of worth done. Some of us come in to the office, but thatâs not expected. Work however you want to get your work done.
We provide dinner Monday-Thursday, plus any snacks you want (weâre across the street from a Trader Joeâs).
Investors
We raised a $6M seed round in August 2025, led by Matrix (Apple, FedEx, Afterpay, Oculus) with participation from Ludlow (Honey, StockX), Y Combinator, Paul Graham, a16z + Index scouts, and a couple dozen angels (mostly ex-YC founders).
