What Youâll Be Doing
Reporting to the Director, Digital Product Delivery , the Sr. Product Owner plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing CIBCâs public websites. This role is focused on the planning and execution of initiatives that expand and enhance the features, functionality, and experiences on CIBCâs websites. As a Senior Product Owner, you are accountable for establishing a product vision, delivering product iterations that satisfy client needs, maximizing business value, understanding the needs of various stakeholders, and ensuring the product team understands and is aligned to the vision and path of delivering the product. You will work in a fast-paced environment with Project Managers, Designers, Analysts, Consultants, Writers, Developers, Vendors, and Leadership for the delivery of medium and large-scale projects. You will have a high level of interaction with Technology, business partners, and the management of internal and external groups.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. How Youâll Succeed* Project Management â Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
Relationship Management â Ensure open information flows among stakeholders and resolve issues, provide mitigation actions, as well as timely and accurate tracking of project issues.
Business Acumen - Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of CIBCâs websites, web content management and digital channels within the financial services industry
Leading and Mentoring â Support end-to-end project delivery as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of Designers, Developers, Writers and Analysts
