About the job:

We’re looking for a keen Junior Asset Data Engineer to join our Digital Team in Christchurch!

The role involves:

Analysis of Geo-Spatial data collected in the field for asset assessment \& reporting.

Selecting and prioritising assets (physical \& digital) for maintenance and repair programmes.

Developing data driven insights on customers Three Waters Networks

Supporting asset health monitoring and network operational efficiency.

What you’ll need:

Bachelors degree in Statistical Analysis GIS, Geography, Engineering or similar.

Strong GIS and Geo-Spatial analysis capability.

Strong understanding of spatial data structure and competency in statistical analysis.

1-2 years’ GIS experience or equivalent digital platforms is advantageous

Intermediate or higher level in Microsoft Office suite of programmes.

Excellent attention to detail.

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
