Role
We are looking for a skilled Quality Cloud Engineer (C++ Developer) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate brings strong programming expertise in modern C++ thrives in product-led squad and has a mindset for enablement. You will play a critical role in leading teams to adopt and adapt modern engineering practices, tools, and processes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design, develop, and optimise high-performance applications, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with product goals.
Key Requirements:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
Work as part of a product-led squad, contributing to end-to-end delivery, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
Enable and mentor other engineers by sharing best practices, tools, and frameworks that improve team efficiency and delivery quality.
Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following coding standards.
Debug, optimize, and enhance existing applications and libraries.
Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to full-stack development activities — from backend services to integration with frontend components.
Ensure software reliability and performance through testing and profiling.
Contribute to design discussions and help shape the technical direction of projects.
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong hands-on experience in C++ development.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience working in product-led squads or agile product teams.
Familiarity with backend frameworks (REST APIs, microservices).
Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
We are open to this role being based either in our London or US offices, salary will be dependant on location.
