The Role
As a Junior Developer at Cloudcon, you won't be stuck in a corner writing boilerplate code. You will be an active participant in the full software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our Software Team Lead to build features that make our clients' lives easier.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Feature Building: Developing and maintaining features for our core platforms using C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Vue.
System Integration: Helping migrate legacy, paper-based workflows into our high-performance cloud environment.
AI-Augmented Coding: Leveraging modern AI tools (like GitHub Copilot or Cursor) to speed up development while ensuring the output meets our high standards for security and logic.
Problem Solving: Conducting root-cause analysis on production bugs and helping automate operational tasks.
Collaboration: Participating in "friendly" code reviews where the goal is collective growth, not just pointing out errors.
Who You Are
The Fundamentals: You have a strong grasp of at least one major programming language and understand how databases (SQL) work.
User-Centric: You care about why a button is being built, not just that it functions. You want to make life easier for the person using your software.
Curious \& Resourceful: You follow the "30-minute rule"—you try to solve a problem for 30 minutes, but you aren’t afraid to ask for help when you hit a wall.
Communication: You can explain technical concepts in plain English (a core Cloudcon value).
Bonus Points
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
A link to a project where you solved a "real world" problem (even a small one!).
Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to mobile development, ideally with React Native
Experience with Ruby or Ruby‑based tooling
