Scope of Work \& Responsibilities
· Provide technical support for the Corporate Website after go-live on the Optical platform.
· Troubleshoot UI/UX issues, CMS templates/components (Directus-based), API integrations, and data ingestion.
· Develop and maintain integrations with backend systems, datasets, and external services.
· Ensure secure handling of APIs, tokens, and system configurations.
· Work closely with content and product teams to ensure usability and alignment with site architecture.
· Support UAT defect fixes and sprint-level testing.
· Maintain automated tests, code quality, accessibility, and performance scans.
· Ensure compliance with security standards
· Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and change records.
· Provide knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders and team members.
· Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, review, retrospective).
· Work closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver quality outcomes.
· Use GitLab for version control and CI/CD workflows.
Required Skills \& Experience
Core Technical Skills
· Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
· Experience with Directus CMS or similar headless CMS platforms (Optical experience is a strong advantage).
· Knowledge of REST API design, JSON, OAuth2, and API security.
DevOps \& Infrastructure
· Familiarity with GitLab and DevSecOps principles.
· Experience with Docker and containerisation concepts.
· Knowledge of web infrastructure, AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, ALB/NLB), caching layers, and CDN configuration.
Testing \& Quality Assurance
· Experience implementing automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
· Familiarity with code quality scanning tools and practices.
· Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and tools (WCAG compliance).
· Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools.
Additional Technical Knowledge
· Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and cloud environments.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
