Location: Hybrid remote (2 days in office)
Team: Web Chapter
Employment Type: Full-time
About WOLF
At WOLF Qanawat, we’re reimagining how people connect and engage through entertainment. Our chat-based application brings people together through audio, social communities, and now — interactive games. We are building a dynamic team to power the next evolution of our platform, and we’re looking for innovative minds to join us.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Web Engineer to help execute plans to grow our web presence, reporting to our Web Chapter Lead. In this role, you’ll primarily work to improve and expand our web client—currently migrating to a React stack. You will have a high degree of autonomy to deliver features in a fast-moving environment, alternating between focused independent work and collaboration within a squad. We’re looking for someone who can use their experience to drive modern patterns and best practices, sharing expertise across the team to help us provide an excellent experience for our users.
About the Project
Aiming to draw new audiences to WOLF, we are evolving the web client into a distinct experience that stands alongside our mobile apps. This involves reaching parity on core product functionality by delivering features such as gifting and gaming, while also leveraging the unique strengths of the platform to rework and enhance features such as content creation and sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Developing features for our TypeScript/React frontend, taking ownership of projects from concept to rollout.
Working in cross-functional squads to ship polished, interactive features that help grow and engage our audience.
Building effective technical solutions that balance efficient delivery with long-term maintainability.
Taking initiative on improvements and fixes that enhance the quality of the user interface.
Driving improvements to our tech stack and development workflows to continually streamline how we ship.
Supporting colleagues by promoting best practices and providing constructive peer reviews.
About You
You have significant experience building complex web applications and have mastered at least one modern web framework.
You are proficient with TypeScript and React, or have a demonstrable ability to pick them up quickly.
You take a pragmatic approach to code and are comfortable working in and improving an evolving codebase.
You have a good eye for UX and design, ideally with experience working within a formal design system.
You can work independently to see a project through, while knowing when to check in and collaborate with the wider team.
You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping those around you improve through constructive feedback.
