Job description
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java 21+ / Spring Boot 3+.
Implement microservices and APIs with a focus on performance, security, and resilience.
Optimize queries and data pipelines (MySQL/MongoDB).
Integrate with messaging systems (Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub) and API gateways (Kong/Traefik).
Lead code reviews, refactoring, and architecture discussions.
Collaborate with DevOps to deliver production-grade services on Docker/Docker Swarm/Kubernetes.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices.
Your skills and experience
Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with Java backend development.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and security standards (JWT/OAuth2).
Experience with RDBMS, query tuning, and caching strategies.
Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins, Git), containerization, and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
Familiar with cloud or hybrid deployments.
Excellent problem-solving and system design skills.
Nice to have:* Knowledge of financial/trading systems or fintech platforms.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and reactive programming.
Experience with high availability \& zero downtime deployments.
