DevOps Engineer – Zurich
A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Zurich. Focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms, the organisation leverages modern cloud infrastructure and advanced automation to support mission-critical systems. They are searching for a skilled DevOps Engineer passionate about:
AWS (SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway), CI/CD Pipelines, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation), Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Redis, SQL, NoSQL Databases, Monitoring, Observability, Datadog, AWS Native Monitoring Tools, Cloud Security, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer.
About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating modern cloud infrastructure that supports high-availability and high-performance applications. You will work closely with software engineering teams to implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and ensure reliability, scalability, and security across cloud environments.
You will contribute to large-scale technical initiatives, helping to evolve platform architecture while promoting best practices in automation, monitoring, and DevOps culture.
Nice to Have:
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in production environments
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code
Experience running and operating containerised workloads using Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
Background in backend development using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or similar languages
Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and security best practices
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
