We at Coforge are looking to hire a SAP Data Engineer with the below mentioned skills.
Role Overview:
The Data \& Analytics team sits within Client Technology’s Platform Engineering division and is responsible for building, operating and maintaining data systems and pipelines that underpin our customer’s data and workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, package, test, support and operate cloud, on premise, and hybrid batch-mode data pipelines and datasets with a broad range of technology stacks including SAP Data Services, SAP BusinessObjects, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Tableau, TIBCO Data Virtualization and TIBCO Spotfire.
Explore, analyse, enhance, integrate, catalogue and document datasets and data pipelines.
Develop, implement, maintain and report on data quality standards and metrics.
Support business, governance and operations teams with data and metadata enquiries, and implement required data processing, storage, automation and access controls and enhancements.
Follow Change, Incident and Problem Management policies and processes, including risk identification, risk mitigation and communications with relevant business, technology, market and vendor stakeholders.
Ensure data pipelines and products are designed and built to be run within a critical market infrastructure environment.
Must have
2+ years hands-on experience engineering data pipelines with SAP Data Services.
Good knowledge of data modelling and how to structure data within data lakes and data warehouses, while following best practice data management standards.
Solution design experience with a good working knowledge of DevSecOps practices to achieve high levels of automation across complex data pipelines.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent background.
Nice to have
AWS Data Engineer - Associate certification.
A hands-on engineer with experience working with a variety of data engineering tools across ingestion, curation, storage, orchestration, data management, reporting, analytics, and distribution on AWS data platforms, Tableau, TIBCO Data Virtualization, Spotfire and/or equivalent technologies.
Experience working within a platform/product operating model where frameworks and development kits are leveraged to achieve standardisation, re-use and scale.
A working knowledge of data mesh/data product concepts with federated data ownership at the domain-level but operating on centralised platforms and governance.
Experience working within financial markets and related datasets will be of benefit.
