About the role
As a Cloud Integration Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting missionâcritical integration APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be a valued member of the integration and cloud engineering team, collaborating closely with crossâfunctional technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, cloudânative integration solutions.
In this role, you will:
Design and build highâperformance integration APIs using Node.js within the GCP ecosystem.
Develop and optimize data pipelines and connectors between Solace event broker and Google Cloud Data Warehouse (BigQuery).
Architect and manage cloud resources using Terraform across multiâpublic cloud environments.
Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
Support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including production support and troubleshooting of integration services.
Partner with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define integration and architecture standards in an Agile environment.
What you need to have to be considered
Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and exposure to multiâpublic cloud architectures.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern software development practices.
Advanced experience with Terraform (IaC) for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
Handsâon experience with API design and integration/messaging platforms, specifically Solace.
Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using version control systems.
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and integrations.
Experience operating within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholderâmanagement skills, with the ability to translate technical needs into business outcomes.
These will help you stand out
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Knowledge of multiâcloud integration patterns or crossâcloud infrastructure architecture.
Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
