We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Automation Test Engineer who can design, develop, and execute automation scripts independently using Python based framework. You will be responsible to develop and enhance next generation Test Engineering Automation solutions as part of an Agile team for our banking clients.
In this role, you will
Develop and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Python (primary) or Java.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both frontend (UI) and backend (API, database) components
Execute complex DB testing and automate data validation processes to ensure data integrity and performance.
Integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline to support continuous testing in an Agile environment.
Apply your understanding of Generative AI platforms to test AI-driven features or utilize AI tools to optimize the testing lifecycle.
Work closely with developers from the requirements phase to identify bugs early in the lifecycle.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
Overall 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing experience.
Should have strong experience in Python
Hands on exp on Git, cloud based configurations is must.
Hands on exp for DB testing, API testing is must.
RestAPI, DB automation using Python/Java is must.
Good understanding of Agile based project delivery.
GenAI platform understanding is must.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
Experience in the banking domain is a plus.
Exp on CRM/Salesforce will be an added advantage.
