Job Summary
The Sr. Developer role requires a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of experience in Power BI Service MS Power BI MS Excel Database and SQL. The candidate will leverage their expertise in In-Store Vendor Management to drive data-driven insights and solutions. This hybrid position offers a day shift schedule and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced data models using Power BI Service to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective dashboards in MS Power BI.
Utilize MS Excel for data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
Manage and optimize database systems to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
Execute complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for various analytical purposes.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve in-store vendor management strategies.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to maintain seamless operations.
Conduct regular audits of data systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Support the development of automated reporting solutions to streamline business operations.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in Power BI Service and MS Power BI for creating impactful visualizations.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel for complex data manipulation and analysis.
Have extensive experience in database management and SQL for efficient data handling.
Exhibit deep understanding of in-store vendor management processes and strategies.
Show excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken for effective collaboration.
Display ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office tasks efficiently.
Bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in data analytics.
Certifications Required
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate SQL Certification
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90-115Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
