Responsibilities
Design and implement new features and functionality
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
Ensure high-performance and availability of websites
Manage all technical aspects of the CMS
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers
Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot issues
Maintain website security and perform regular updates
Optimize websites for SEO and speed
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, MySQL, and version control tools (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design
Ability to convert wireframes and mockups into working web pages
Experience with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector or Firebug
Knowledge of website architecture and aesthetics
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
