Your Team
Reporting into the Director, FirstChoice Product Management we are looking for a Product Delivery Manager- FirstChoice to join the team on a 12 Month-Max Term contract. You will ensure that product, investment, regulatory and technology changes are effectively orchestrated and delivered on time, with clear accountability, informed trade‑offs and alignment to product intent.
The FirstChoice Product Management team is part of CFS’s Superannuation \& Investments which is accountable for managing FirstChoice products and delivering enhancements that ensure the platform remains competitive, compliant and customer‑focused.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of FirstChoice PDS rolls and strategic product change initiatives, from early scope shaping through to go‑live and post‑implementation.
Translate product, investment and regulatory decisions into coordinated delivery across multiple teams and functions.
Own delivery outcomes, including scope definition, sequencing, dependencies, risk management and issue resolution.
Act as the single point of accountability for delivery decisions, trade‑offs and escalation throughout the PDS lifecycle.
Partner closely with Product, Disclosure, Legal, Risk, Technology, Operations, Distribution and external partners to ensure changes are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Exercise judgement and make delivery trade‑offs within agreed guardrails, escalating where required without relying on prescriptive instructions or fixed playbooks.
Maintain accountability beyond go‑live, ensuring residual risks, operational impacts and technical debt are understood and actively managed, while driving continuous improvement in delivery practices to improve predictability and quality over time.
Your Capability and Experience
Demonstrated experience within superannuation, wealth management or investment platforms is essential for this role. Candidates must have operated in regulated financial services environments and understand the delivery of product and regulatory change within these contexts.
Demonstrated experience in product‑led or outcome‑focused delivery roles within complex, regulated environments.
A strong track record of working at the intersection of product, investment, regulation and delivery, translating intent into executable outcomes.
Proven delivery judgement, including making trade‑offs in environments with competing priorities, fixed deadlines and incomplete information.
Experience influencing outcomes and driving alignment across multiple teams and senior stakeholders, without relying on formal authority.
Ability to frame problems, options and impacts clearly, enabling effective and timely decision‑making.
Strong communication skills, with a clear, structured style that brings clarity and momentum to complex delivery challenges.
Confidence operating in ambiguous environments with evolving scope, while maintaining focus on outcomes
