The HomeBuying team is responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that support critical business functions. As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical evolution of our systems by contributing to end-to-end design, implementation, and delivery. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from front-end development to backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

Pride themselves on architecting and delivering complex systems at scale.

Are knowledgeable in AI/ML systems, agentic AI, and strategic AI adoption.

Have solid experience guiding high-performing engineering teams and driving technical excellence.

Are comfortable influencing product direction and driving alignment across teams.

Are constantly thinking strategically to balance long-term vision with immediate business needs.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:

Web technologies such as React or NextJS

Backend technologies such as .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, NodeJS

Microservices, RESTful API design,

CI/CD tools like TeamCity, GitHub Actions

AWS Cloud services including ECS, Lambda, S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Cloudwatch, IAM
