The Opportunity
As a Cloud Resiliency Engineer, youâll play a critical role in strengthening and future-proofing our clientsâ cloud environments. Working within our Technical Product Services team, youâll partner with customers through focused consulting engagements to assess, design, and enhance the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their Microsoft Azure platforms.
This is a highly consultative role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking. Youâll assess cloud infrastructure and operational resiliency end-to-end â from high availability and disaster recovery designs to Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) â delivering clear, actionable recommendations that help organisations withstand and recover from disruption.
What Youâll Be Doing
Designing and evaluating
high availability (HA)
and
disaster recovery (DR)
architectures in Microsoft Azure
Assessing cloud infrastructure, resiliency processes, and operational maturity against best practice
Designing and reviewing
Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs)
aligned to SLAs and business risk tolerances
Supporting business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and recovery testing
Advising customers through assessment-based consulting engagements
Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and executive stakeholders
What Youâll Bring
Youâll combine strong consulting experience with hands-on cloud expertise and a passion for building resilient systems.
Minimum 5+ yearsâ experience in:
High availability and disaster recovery design in
Microsoft Azure
Azure architecture, including infrastructure, Availability Zones, backup and recovery, and monitoring services
Consulting or assessment-based delivery environments
Cloud-native resiliency patterns and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
Designing and assessing Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs)
Business continuity planning and incident response processes
Youâll also bring:
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Confidence engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders
A structured, risk-aware approach to problem-solving
Certifications
