Shopify Expert / E‑Commerce Specialist (Part‑Time, Hybrid)
A growing independent publishing company is seeking a Shopify-savvy, detail‑oriented e‑commerce specialist to help streamline and expand our online book sales.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean systems, problem‑solving, and working with a creative founder who values professionalism, clarity, and results.
This role is hands-on Shopify store support (products, variants, shipping, checkout), not a strategic or development position.
Responsibilities include:
Optimizing Shopify product listings (books, bundles, digital products)
Improving checkout flow and customer experience
Assisting with shipping setup and integrations
Managing product variants (paperback, hardcover, digital, audio)
Supporting seasonal promotions and launches
Troubleshooting Shopify issues as they arise
Requirements:
Proven experience working with Shopify (required)
Strong attention to detail
Clear communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Familiarity with print‑on‑demand or book sales is a plus (not required)
Position Details:
Part‑time (4-6 hours per week to start)
Fully remote
Flexible schedule (preferably Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays)
Hourly pay, commensurate with experience
4–6 hours per week to start, with the possibility of additional hours during launches or peak seasons.
