Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled C# Developer with a strong data-oriented mindset to join our technical team. The ideal candidate must possess advanced SQL Server skills, as a primary responsibility will be data extraction, query optimization, and the generation of complex reports.
Since our existing core applications are built in Visual Basic 6 (VB6), familiarity with this language (or the ability to read and interpret legacy code) is a significant plus to facilitate maintenance and logic migration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software solutions using C# (.NET).
Design, write, and optimize complex SQL Server queries (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions).
Generate accurate and detailed reports based on business requirements.
Analyze legacy code in VB6 to understand existing reporting logic and maintain or migrate it to modern technologies.
Ensure database integrity and performance when handling large datasets.
Requirements:
Proven experience in software development with C#.
Strong SQL proficiency (Must be comfortable beyond simple SELECTs; deep understanding of relational databases and performance tuning is required).
Experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports, DevExpress, or generating Excel/PDF exports via code).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have (Plus):
Experience with or knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0 (VB6).
Experience migrating legacy systems to modern .NET architectures.
