Job description
We are seeking a Backend Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and building reliable
systems. You will tackle technical challenges, improve system performance, and deliver solutions that scale
— all while communicating with our international team in English.Responsibilities* Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Design and build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
Identify bottlenecks, debug issues, and optimize system performance
Break down complex problems into manageable, deliverable components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
Your skills and experience
Required Skills: 2–4 years of backend development experience*
Strong proficiency in Node.js, PHP, or Python
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently
Experience debugging production issues and proposing effective solutions
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
Comfortable designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal for daily work with global colleagues
Eager to learn and work collaboratively in a team.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Traits:* Experience with multiple languages from our stack (Node.js, PHP, Python)
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with Docker and basic DevOps practices
Background in Agile teams
