Category Manager Auxiliary Equipment (m/f/d)

Duties \& Responsibilities:

As Category Manager Auxiliary Equipment, you will lead the strategic sourcing of Auxiliary Equipment for Constantia Flexibles' production machinery across our global manufacturing sites. You will drive supplier performance, cost efficiency, and innovation, ensuring alignment with technical and operational needs.

Develop global sourcing strategies for Capex Auxiliary Equipment and align category plans with technical teams and business units.

Build supplier relationships, negotiate contracts reflecting our values, and manage technological knowledge transfer.

Collaborate with R\&D and Operations to support product development and address non-performance claims.

Deliver value through smart sourcing and cost optimization, and develop obsolescence parts strategies with suppliers.

Use data to drive decisions and improve procurement processes, ensuring transparency and compliance.

Requirements:

Completed higher education in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Economic, or relevant studies.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, technical procurement role, or industrial production environment, ideally in packaging or manufacturing.

Proven track record in managing global supplier portfolios and complex technical categories.

Proficiency in relevant software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite).

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Analytical approach with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Start: as of now

Hours: Fulltime (38.5 h/w)

Compensation: depending on the job-related experience \& competencies, \~ 80.000 EUR gross a year (based on the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry if located in Vienna/Austria).
