Experienced 3D artist and USD engineer delivering performant, reusable assets and pipelines for advanced simulation and robotics systems.
Your Role \& Responsibilities
Develop, author, and maintain complex 3D assets and environments using OpenUSD
Build scalable and reusable USD-based asset pipelines for simulation and visualization
Work with Omniverse Kit and Isaac Sim to create, optimize, and validate 3D scenes for robotics and simulation workflows
Optimize meshes, materials, composition, and instancing for performance and scalability
Collaborate closely with simulation, robotics, and software teams to integrate 3D assets into larger systems
Contribute to the continuous improvement of rendering, simulation, and asset workflows
Required Technical \& Professional Expertise
Proficiency in OpenUSD, demonstrated through hands-on project experience or formal certification
NVIDIA OpenUSD Development Certification
Strong experience with Omniverse Kit / Isaac Sim, or strong proficiency in another 3D engine such as Unity, Unreal, Gazebo, or similar
Solid understanding of 3D asset optimization principles, including meshes, materials, composition, and instancing
Experience crafting complex 3D assets and environments in a scalable and maintainable way
Experience with physics simulation techniques such as cloth simulation and skeleton rigging
Familiarity with novel graphics rendering approaches, for example gaussian splatting
Experience setting up rendering pipelines and cloud-based rendering services (render farms)
